个人概况

博士,研究员,海洋与气候研究中心副主任。

长期从事海洋环流、海-气相互作用与气候变化的理论与数值模拟研究。主持的科研项目包括国家973项目课题、国家重点研发计划课题、国家自然科学基金项目、科学院重大专项课题等。在Nature、Journal of Climate、Geophysical Research Letters等学术期刊上发表论文50余篇,其中SCI论文30余篇。

改进了传统ADI方法在正压海洋数值模式中对控制方程的差分方法,建立了精度更高、计算更快、稳定性更好的时间交错半隐式二维正压海洋模式,为海洋动力过程的诊断分析提供了一个十分有效的工具。合作提出了赤道太平洋-赤道大西洋遥相关理论,首次揭示了东赤道太平洋通过大气的“TT机制” 和海洋的“Bjerknes机制”影响赤道大西洋海洋气候的作用机理,该成果发表于国际知名学术期刊《Nature》上。提出了关于导致厄尔尼诺强度以及周期变化的新理论,揭示了海表温度导致的温跃层变化所引发的海-气相互作用强度变化的规律,阐明了厄尔尼诺的强度以及振荡周期变化的动力机制,为更好地预测厄尔尼诺提供了有力的理论依据。
